You manager to get Diego Buonanotte! Ol' B! You won't regret it! If you're playing with mirager's tactic then I suggest playing him in RCM he's doing really well for me there. And re-train him in the RW position. He does well there also as he is very creative. I hope you put him straight into the team! And for £2.7m already in 2010, that's good. Luckily he was still at River. Hopefully he has still progressed. Do you have the Serbian leagues loaded? I know you said Robin Nelisse is crap, but I think he's well good! Especially for a lower team. On the recent games I have started I always look for him but he is never on the game, so I wikipediad him and found out he has left FC Utrecht and is now at Red Bull. So Serbian leagues will be loaded from now on for me! I'd say you have made some decent signings. I think David Dunn will turn out to be a very good buy and cheap at £1.4m. Tony Hibbert is a pretty good free as well. How old is Ivan Helguera? Cos £130k seems very cheap to me! I'm a bit reserved with Simon Dawkins, he never seems to become good on my games, I managed to get him on a free while I was at Brentford. He was really good for me, but I had him while him was in leagues 1 and 2. Try Sherman Cardenas. Hes either AMLC or AMRC. He can be trained in either the L or R, whichever one he needs to be. Anyway, I always used to get him on FM07 really cheap. He always ended up being worth £15m+. I have signed him for Portsmouth, but he's loaned out atm as he didn't get a work permit so that may be a stumbling block for you also. But as you're further in the game he may have played games for Columbia allowing him to get a work permit.

Just as I post that last one, I noticed you posted your formation. I've never played Buonanotte in the AMC as I kept the 3 CMs. That is his primary position so he should do well there. However, I do feel it's a mistake to replace the backward arrowed CM with the ACM, especially considering you are Watford. If you wanted to do this then you need to have an extremely good defence, and considering you are Watford and have just been promoted, you are going to be on the defensive in quite a few of your games. I really would keep the CM with the backward arrow as he is going to be there when you get caught on the break etc. If you are gonna keep it the way you have it then I would make your 2 CMs fairly defensive minded. (1 of them very defensive) as you have hardly any cover in front of the back 4.

okay so listened to emanuelson's advice, and result was positive. and helguera is 35 years old now, i think he would ony be good for one season. also that would be all my transfers this season as i have spent all my money alr.

Glad to see my advice worked ;D
What are your results like away from home? Have you modified the tactic slightly for away matches?
I didn't realise Helguera was that old, I'm surprised he can still cut it in the Prem at that age! What's his pace like? I think you may be looking for a new defender in the January transfer window.

When I play away with mirager's tactic I remove the RB/LB and CM forward arrows. I make the team mentality fairly defensive. I lessened the defensive pressure and creative freedom a bit also. I also made some individual player instruction changes. (Making players more defensive etc.) I can't remember them off the top of my head. If that doesn't help I'll give you the exact changes I made if you want.

my away game without any modifications to th tactics. i will try your feedback in my next away game. anw, do you guys think it is more useful if i take screenshots of th formation or th split view at full time? oh and i also signed nordtveit on loan for th season, he is gg to be cover for my defence as i found out that DeMerit is quite injury prone. also, helguera is alr 35 so i dont think he would be able to get too many games in a season.
