ase that Acer is a beast trust me, but if you don;t fancy that then This is also good. Out of the three that've been said though (Vaio, Acer Aspire on EBuyer and the HP Compaq on EBuyer) I'd say the Acer or the HP are the best value for money, as they are all very similar in terms of how good they are, but the prices on those two are much lower.

thanks again. its not that i dont like th acer one though, its just that if th screen i too wide, it might be more difficult for me to carry it ard. edit: after reading through th overview of th Acer laptop, i have a few questions. i am using windows XP now. if i switch over to vista, will my FM disc and all my files still work if i transfer them over? another question is that, im assuming th website is based in th UK and i am in canada. it says that th laptop comes with a 3-pin 65 W AC adapter, is it suitable to use in Canada too?

I wouldn;t know about the adapter, you;d have to email their customer service for that, as for the files, yeah it should work fine if you transfer the files over, and if you have any problems, I;m sure Si will have a fix for it, because lots of people had switched over to Vista for FM08.
